What Does The Muslim World Need Most These Days?

By:
MUSLIM

Few weeks ago, I posted a poll on the main need of the Muslim world nowadays. The votes I saw were very interesting, yet expected. Most voters acknowledged our need for religious awareness, as could be seen in the attached figure. I myself had another say, I voted for the economic development.

Certainly, I don't underestimate the role of Islamic awareness in reviving this Ummah and supporting the Muslim World. But, don't you all think that when a Muslim man has no bread to eat, nor water to drink, he won't even be alive to worship his God !

Muslims have always been patient. In fact, we teach patience to our children. Arabs have a proverb that says: "Bravery is one hour of patience". However, patience is not the only cure!

When we saw Egyptian soldiers being used by the new Pharaoh to bake bread for the public, while, their Pharaoh is enjoying their welfare in his palace, what would we vote then?! No one will argue the importance of religious awareness. Yet, many would still hesitate to point to the real reason of our backwardness and weakness. It's political tyranny!

Few days back, some Tunisian citizens were shot to death, by their security forces. Why did this happen? It's just because those innocent citizens thought they live in the 21st century! They forgot that their tyrant was allegedly voted 94.94% in last general elections! Those Tunisians were demonstrating for bread and rice, they got fire and bullets instead!

Tyranny is why we will never rise in the meantime! Imam Ibnu Taymeya, may Allah be pleased with him, said:"Allah will grant victory to the just infidel state over the unjust Muslim state".
So this is what we really need, JUSTICE!

  1. first of all thanks for your blog
there are many islamic countries which have a good economic state like Qatar,Dubai,Kuwait and Saudi Arabia but they still have many problems because they usually spend their money in Silly things.

so I think we have to know more about our religion ,because if we follow THE HOLY QURAN and SUNNA then we will have economic growth, justice and everything that we need

  2. First of all, Dubai is not a country! It is a city in the United Arab Emirates. This is the problem of Dubai Ruler allowing the money to be spent on things of no use just for a desert city to flourish without control and for its name to be known all over the world. There are more important issues than buildings: agriculture, clean energy and food safety. I am happy I live in Sharjah.

Anyways, I believe that the Islamic governments need to implement Sharia: mainly principles of public justice and public welfare. Choosing the people who fear Allah in the government prevents corruption. Continuous observation and examination of these people ensures they will keep serving the people justly.

I hope the governments come back to Sharia.

  4. Thanks for your comments brothers and sisters. I basically agree that sharia rules should be implemented in all Muslim countries. But, I also believe it should go step by step. This could take years, most important is that people realize its importance and meanings.

Imam Abul A'la Al Maududi, may Allah bless his soul, emphasized on the fact that the motive, to refrain from sins and immoral acts, should come from the person's awareness and piety (from inside). And any incentive or law enforcement (from outside) would act as a supporting factor to avoid evil deeds.

As for the fatehisrael blog, I highly recommend that everybody take a look at it. It should be good to read from fateh blogs as well, as to be fair and JUST.
